Rubadiri who joined the world in celebrating Mothers’ Day on Sunday, confessed that it was scary to become a mother at such a tender age.

“You see this picture? You were a week old, I was 18 and scared out of my wits. You were perfection, I was a wreck. I fought for a long time with embracing the identity of being a mother because I felt I wasn’t ready,” she stated on the Instagram post.

The former NTV news anchor went ahead to open up on how the journey of motherhood has been full of lessons for her.

“I learned that with time as you grew and became a different human being at every stage. I grew with you, made my mistakes but pushed forward. You healed me with your unconditional love,” she added.

She also appreciated her family particularly her parents and sister for helping her to raise her daughter who is now a teenager.

Very little is known of Victoria Rubadiri’s personal life as she keeps it private.
