The Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Hajji is yet to issue orders for the arrest of his father over alleged land graft case.
Senator Yussuf Hajji who is DPP Hajji's father was named in a land grabbing scandal in a report released by the National Land Commission on Tuesday.
In its brief, the National Land Commissioner (NLC) had announced that it had started public inquiries into the deeply rooted historical land injustices on Tuesday.
The lands commission further said it was investigating all alleged land disputes since the year 1895.
Senator Haji is reported to have taken a public land at the Kenyan Coast and allegedly sold the land to a charitable organisation during the Moi era when he was a powerful cabinet minister.
The senator had been invited to attend the inquest sessions but failed to turn up or even sent a representative.
In the recent days, the office of the DPP and the DCI have been orchestrating high profile arrests and it will now be a litmus test for them if they will exercise the same zeal in handling the alleged land case.
