Kalonzo said he is sure Raila will honor the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) he signed with the ODM Party leader in 2017.

Speaking on the Speakers' Gallery Show hosted by former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim on Ebru TV on Tuesday, Kalonzo said it is time for Raila to support him in 2022.

The former Vice President said he has supported Raila in the last two presidential elections hence is time for the Orange party leader to do the same.

Kalonzo said he is in good terms with Raila contrary to what some media outlets have been reporting.

The former Vice President denied claims that the March 9 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga "killed" the National Super Alliance.

"NASA is still active and the memorandum we signed with my brother Raila Odinga is still in force," Kalonzo said.

The former Vice President noted that he is serious in his push to succeed president Kenyatta.

He stated that he will move across the country to lobby Kenyans to vote for him.

Kalonzo said he is ready to work with like minded politicians who will agree to support his presidential bid in 2022.

The Wiper leader is among the top politicians eyeing to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In 2017, Kalonzo signed an MoU with Raila that was to see him fly NASA presidential flag in 2022.

There  have been claims that Raila may not honor the MoU he penned with Kalonzo since he did not win the presidential election in 2017.

A section of Raila's  allies claim that the former Prime Minister could contest for presidency in 2022.

The Orange Party leader has however denied claims that he plans to contest in 2022.
