James Ondari Omare, Boochi Tendere MCA on Sunday said Kalonzo should go on retirement in peace.

"Kalonzo is tired and he should consider announcing his retirement. He is confused to the extent he is supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta's third term yet the constitution doesn't allow," he said.

Mr. Ondari said President Uhuru Kenyatta won't vie for the third term in 2022 because the law requires one to vie for only two terms.

"Leaders like Kalonzo who have no vision for this country should stop violating the constitution. Uhuru should be given humble time to deliver as by the Big 4 Agenda before he retires in 2022. Kalonzo should know the constitution won't be changed for few selfish individuals to gain," he added.

The vocal MCA regretted why Kalonzo should back the constitutional changes to extend the presidential limit.

"We should change the constitution for more funds to be sent towards for development projects. Kalonzo is now irrelevant and he should go home in peace before 2022," said Ondari.
