Bonchari MP John Oyioka said that  claims he is discriminating constituents who were not in his political camp during the 2017 polls are untrue meant to tarnish his name.

“I want to confirm that I am serving the people of Bonchari with equality. Those claiming that I have discriminated regions that didn’t vote for me are doing it for political gain,” he noted.

The PDP party allied MP wondered why rivals could continue dwelling so much on propaganda instead of focus on development.

The vocal lawmaker appealed to constituents to keep off retrogressive politicians.

“The people of Bonchari deserve development and not propaganda. My appeal to the electorates is that politicians who are idle speaking falsehood should be avoided at all cost,” he stated.

He assured that throughout his tenure he will prioritize development across the constituency.

Oyioka challenged his main rival and ex-MP John Opore to accept that he is the MP in the constituency until 2022.

He was speaking on Saturday at Suneka market where he assured traders that he will help them build new business stalls.
