A politician allied to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party from Gusii region has launched a fresh fight with Deputy President William Ruto ahead of the 2022 polls.
Samuel Omwando who unsuccessfully competed with Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka during the 2017 polls claimed that DP Ruto is a dangerous man who should be ignored.
"Kenyans should boycott DP Ruto because he is a looter. He is using his close allies to steal public money to fund his presidential campaigns in 2022," said the vocal politician.
Omwando challenged Gusii region electorates not to be tricked by DP Ruto's aides.
"Ruto's aides will be out dishing stolen money drumming up support for Ruto to become president once Uhuru Kenyatta completes his term in 2022. I am appealing to the Gusii community members who are eligible voters not to join DP Ruto's camp," he added.
He reiterated that DP Ruto will find it hard in 2022 because President Uhuru Kenyatta will not throw his support behind him.
"Ruto will be left alone the same way he left NASA leader Raila Odinga during the 2013 polls. 2022 will be Ruto's time to regret his past," stated Omwando.
