Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has denied being part of the theJubilee government after his truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking during Citizen TV interview on Tuesday, Raila rubbished the rumors that he is working for the government noting that, he could be having a specific title if so.
He maintained that he is still the leader of opposition NASA.
“I am not in government, I am outside government. If I was in the government I would be having a specific title. I am a member and leader of NASA and I am also the leader of ODM,” said Odinga.
He added that he is a man of many titles that are not in the Kenyan government structure and anybody can call him with whatever title is good for them.
“Well I am just myself, you can call me whatever you want to call me. Some people call me former prime minister, some people call me the people’s president, some the leader of NASA, the leader of ODM and so on so forth, I am all those,” added Raila.
This comes after the famous handshake that brought together the head of state and the opposition leader with each agreeing to work together
