According to the woman, Joan Anyango, she was alighting from the passenger vehicle when the tout stretched out his arm and grabbed her 'assets'.

"You will have to respect women today. How can you touch me like I am your wife? Do I look like a prostitute to you?" Anyango shouted at the tout while beating him.

The crowd watched in shock as the tout was roughed up and beaten by the woman with no one volunteering to separate the two.

This is however not the first time the tout, famously known as Rasta by the area residents, is accused of touching female passengers inappropriately.

"A few months ago a woman had also accused him of touching her while she was boarding the vehicle. The woman, however, did not do anything out of fear," Leah Nanjala who sells vegetables and fruits on the roadside where passengers board the vehicles noted.

Most of those who witnessed the incident said the man deserved the beating as it was disrespectful for him to touch a woman without her consent.

"Let this be a lesson to you and all those who think they can touch a woman anyway they want," Anyango shouted at him.

The tout eventually managed to free himself from the lady and ran away in shame.
