Northern Wanderers Football Club (FC) has embarked on a scouting mission to pick top talents in the North Eastern region.
Club's patron who also doubles as Garissa Township MP Aden Duale, revealed that the technical team had pitched a week-long camp in Wajir county. To this effect, the bench managed to identify potential talents who will be incorporated into the team.
"Northern Wanderers FC technical team undertook a week long talent identification programme in Wajir county. We identified potential players who will have an opportunity to join Northern Wanderers FC so as to develop and bring success tp the team," Duale said.
In the coming weeks, the scouts will also be heading to Mandera to select more players, who will later on pitch tent in Garissa come June this year.
"Next week, the football scouts will be in Mandera to realize the same. The selected players will camp in Garissa- mid June once scouting is over," he added.
With the ongoing talent search, it is expected that the club will manage to pick the finest of regional footballers in bid to promote sporting activities in the expansive North Eastern region.
