Should Kenya go to polls today, President Uhuru Kenyatta would be humbled badly, a Twitter poll survey by political pundit Mutahi Ngunyi indicates.
By the time of going to press, 11,800 Kenyans has participated in the random poll, perhaps the highest compared to that can be used in a scientific poll.
While the data may not be used for credibility purposes, the outcome could give a tip of what Kenyans think about Uhuru's leadership just one year into his second term.
Of the 11,800 people, only 14 per cent had confidence in Uhuru while a whopping 69 per cent voted against him.
And 19 per cent, said they don't care. In his question, Ngunyi had asked his close to 1.2 Millon followers of they would support president Uhuru Kenyatta if he ran for president today.
In their comments, the cost of high living following passing of 8% VAT on petroleum products dominated the debate.
While a host of Kenyans opposed Uhuru's proposals, parliament passed the memorandum albeit controversially.
The president is keen to implement his Big Four agenda among them healthcare, housing and infrastructure which he insists must be achieved through taxation.
