Nyamira County residents have something to smile about following the planned free medical camp and cancer screening slated on 21st and 22nd February, 2019.
The venue of the exercise will be at Igenaitambe hospital and Sironga primary school in Nyamira County.
Dr.Timothy Ombati, the organizer and KMPDU official, appealed to Nyamira locals to turn up in large numbers to be screened.
"Locals should not fear showing up since the exercise will be absolutely free. It is good for people to know their health conditions so that they can be put on medication," noted Ombati.
He assured that a team of competent and qualified doctors will attend to locals.
Mr Ombati cancer has become a killer disease and therefore, insisted on the need for residents to go for screening.
"Residents will also have an opportunity to be educated on how they should live a health lifestyle purposely to reduce the number of people getting infected with various diseases," stated the organizer.
He challenged residents to give deaf ears to some individuals who may be out to spread propaganda about the free medical camp.
