Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has now claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga used Sh150 million to travel to China for the second belt forum which commenced on Wednesday.
The Canadian-based Kenyan lawyer said the amount they used for 'luxury travel' would have been used to settle down 2000 nurses for 166 years or alternatively, create 10,000 jobs for the young people.
"The Sh150 million Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga used to travel to China, book 7-star hotels, spoil themselves on alcohol and exotic meals in order to sell Avocado's was more than enough to pay 2,000 nurses for 166 years or create 10,000 well-paying quality jobs for the unemployed youth," he said in a fiery Facebook post on Friday.
The barrister attacked the two leaders after they travelled to China to seal a deal which was earlier on speculated to be of a loan deal worth Sh368 billion that would be used to complete the extension of the third phase of the SGR construction from Naivasha to Kisumu.
Both President Kenyatta and Raila have come under heavy criticism for what many have termed as subjecting the country to very dangerous debt levels.
