Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has accused KANU party of supporting Tiaty MP William Kamket, who he revealed, has been aiding and abetting Kerio valley killings.
In his official Twitter handle, the senator castigated his colleague, Gideon Moi for ignorantly, giving the KANU lawmaker a helping hand in managing a criminal gang that has been reported to have ended lives of several residents from Baringo county.
"It is incongruous for Moi Gideon to support Kamket who is leading a militia to kill his people," read part of the post.
Murkomen argued that the national police reservists had helped a lot in restoring peace and protecting the lives of Baringo North and South residents, adding that more lives would have been lost if it were not for their presence.
"Without the national police reservists (NPRs) residents of Baringo South and North would have been wiped out," argued Murkomen.
The Senate majority leader opined that NPR's should remain in Kerio valley in order to protect the women and children whose lives have been endangered by recently witnessed banditry.
"Without NPRs women and Children In Kerio will not be safe," remarked the Senetor.
The vocal lawmaker claimed KANU was taking back Kerio valley to a valley of death as it was witnessed during the ex-president Daniel Moi's era.
