Opposition leader Raila Odinga’s son Raila Junior has trolled Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria after claiming that his life is in danger.
In a Twitter post on Thursday evening, the former Prime Minister’s son shared a screenshot of remarks by Kuria written in Kikuyu dialect.
The content of the screenshot was Kuria's sentiments in 2017 when he allegedly warned those opposing Jubilee Party’s win that they would suffer dire consequences.
“Surely can someone remind me if this is the same Moses Kuria who said this, now seeking assurance from DCI because his life is in danger? Aiy! Not the same Mose Dunia ni duara,” posted Raila Junior.
Raila Junior's post comes after the vocal legislator claimed his life was in danger following his New Year's remarks insinuating that President Uhuru Kenyatta had neglected the Mt Kenya region in terms of development.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Thursday, Kuria noted that he had been receiving threatening messages.
“I have been receiving all sorts of funny calls people telling me that I will end up like J.M Kariuki,” he said.
The fiery Jubilee politician also revealed that he had shared the same information with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
