Deputy President William Ruto has said he has a secret weapon which he will use against other presidential candidates in 2022.
Ruto who was speaking in Tenges, Baringo County on Friday when he commissioned the Sh1 billion Japan/Kenya-funded Rural Water Supply Project comprising 70 boreholes said his greatest weapon in the politics of 2022 is his brain and energy.
The DP said he is prepared for battle ahead promising whoever will vie for the country's top seat a run for their money.
"I have a lot in my brains," the former Eldoret North MP who first joined Parliament in 1997 said.
"I have what it takes in terms of agenda to move Kenya forward as some of my competitors spread propaganda."
Ruto has been campaigning throughout the country as he angles to take over the country's leadership from President Uhuru Kenyatta whose term ends in 2022.
The DP has been frequenting Western, Coast and Central regions from where he is forging alliances with like-minded leaders who he expects to campaign for him ahead of the 2022 general polls.
Among leaders he has managed to bring to his camp is Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula who has already declared that he would support the DP's quest to become Kenya's fifth president.
