Kenya’s top male gospel artist Willy Paul aka Pozze is mourning the death of one of his dancers.

In a post seen on his Instagram wall on Sunday, Willy Paul shared a clip of his latest song “Sikireti” featuring Jamaican singer Cecile. The clip captures the part where he is  with Val Smilley, a dancer who died after being involved an road accident.

“The girl in blue hair, gone too soon my love.. Words alone cannot express how shocked I am now. Rest in eternal peace. And like I’ve always said to you, I still love you and will always do. Such a young soul. May the Lord God take good care of you. You were one of my best. @saldido_international. R.I.P @Val_Smilley. Love you,” he posted on Instagram.

According to the dancer's friends, she died after being involved in a road accident. Details of when the accident occurred are still unclear but as evident in Willy Paul's post, they had a close working relationship.

The controversial gospel singer has had people provoke him for his style of music. many accuse him for singing like a secular singer, while others accuse him for using girls that have dressed in short dresses and shorts. 

A number of social media users eulogized @Val Smilley on Instagram as a great dancer and art ambassador who the entertainment industry lost during the weekend.

Her last post on Instagram, just 21 hours before the news of her death on Saturday attracted emotional tributes from her friends as she turned her last page on her promising career in the entertainment industry.
