A middle aged man has gone into hiding after he was found on the act with his neighbor’ wife.
The incident happened on Saturday evening at Nyaramba area in Nyamira County.
It is alleged that the suspect identified as Tom Mogusu, has been having illicit love affair with his neighbor’s wife for the last two years.
His neighbor, James Karori, a bodaboda rider said Mogusu has been sleeping with his wife, Jackline, secretly.
“My wife was rude and when I questioned why she always threatened to divorce me.
"I reported the matter to area chief who summoned him but he refused to report to the chief’s office for the matter to be solved,” said Karori.
He laid a trap on his wife on Saturday evening when he pretended that he was going to Nyamira Town for work but returned home an hour later only to find his wife and the man in bed.
“I lied to my wife that I was to be in Nyamira town for work and could return home late at night.
"I returned home at 8:30 pm and found her in our bed with the man having sex,” he said.
He said he raised alarm to attract other neighbors but the man escaped through the window and left my wife alone in bed.
Area chief Walter Gesami said the man is being trailed to be arrested.
Gesami condemned the woman saying her unfaithfulness in marriage must come to an end failure to which she will be kicked out from the area.
“People like Jackline will not be tolerated to continue staying in the area," he said.
