Matiangi's directive on the Eidul Adha holiday has angered the Muslim community, who now say the interior CS knows nothing about their religion.
The criticism came after the CS isssued a gazette notice indicating the holiday will be marked on Tuesday.
Led by Chief Kadhi Sheikh Ahmed Muhdhar, Muslim faithful are now saying they will mark the holiday on Wednesday contrary to the government's directive.

However, a section of the Muslim faithful has already pointed accusing fingers on the chief kadhi criticizing him of misleading the community.
