The leaders led by Richard Onyonka, the Kitutu Chache South MP, claimed that a report released by IPSOS should be ignored since it is meant to tarnish DP Ruto’s name.

“IPSOS should stop telling lies about DP Ruto. The report is being funded by some individuals with a hidden agenda to achieve ahead of 2022 general elections,” he said.

Onyonka said politicians who are out to pay IPSOS to release fake reports to taint other leaders will be dealt with by Kenyans.

South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro denied claims that DP Ruto is corrupt.

“Kenyans should ignore the fake report released by IPSOS. Ruto is not corrupt and the report is meant to tarnish his name to derail his 2022 presidential ambitions.

"I am urging Ruto to be strong and ensure he gets to State House in 2022,” he said.

Bomachoge Borabu MP Zadock Ogutu said it is not time to tell who is corrupt and who is not.

“DP Ruto’s opponents have panicked ahead of 2022 elections and now they are using the backdoor to taint Ruto’s name. No obstacle is going to stop DP Ruto from getting to State House in 2022,” he noted.

Mr. Ogutu said Ruto should not be scared of the fake IPSOS report that ranked him as the most corrupt individual in the country.

The MPs were speaking at Tendere Sport Grounds in Kisii County on Thursday when they hosted DP Ruto.
