At least five MPs staged protests in presence of President Uhuru Kenyatta, claiming that they were unfairly denied opportunity to address certain issues.

ODM Treasurer Timothy Bosire says Ruto could come out clean over the matter, adding that it was a sign of disrespecting the Head of State.

"If he is genuine, let him come out and tell us what happened. Those leaders must have been under strict instructions from him. It's easy to read some foul play," he said.

ODM chairman Richard Kaka added: "These guys were there during planning but did not object to the programme. And just from the blues, they walk away. We know Ruto must have instructed them."

With both Uhuru and Ruto remaining mum, Governor Joyce Laboso has since defended herself that she was not incharge of the programme.

Sources claimed that State House mandarins had blocked areas leaders from speaking in pretext that they had planned to use Mau Forest and Ruto's bid to politic yet Uhuru is not keen for campaigns.
