A politician allied to ODM party based in Kisii County has dismissed claims by Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale that the ODM party leader Raila Odinga has a bad record of breaking political parties.
Samuel Omwando while speaking in Kisii town on Sunday termed Duale's claims as fake which do not add up.
"Duale's claims won't substantiate anything close to the truth. Raila has never broken any political party. Kenyans need to be told the truth that the former Prime Minister has been championing for democracy and equality," he said.
Omwando further said that Jubilee, similar to any political party, has in-house fights but should not be related to Raila Odinga
"Raila has nothing to do with the wrangles in Jubilee party. If the ruling party is breaking Raila should not be dragged into it because he made peace with President Uhuru Kenyatta purposely to unite the country," he stated.
Omwando challenged opposition supporters to be firm and ignore the claims being peddled by Jubilee politicians led by DP Ruto that Raila wants to break Jubilee party.
According to the former Kitutu Chache South MP contestant, Jubilee will break because of the hiked corruption cases involving top Jubilee party leaders.
