Raila Junior has hit out at Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko over the faulty streets lights in the city.
In a tweet on Friday, Raila Junior, who is the son of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, said that Sonko needs to concentrate on service delivery rather than engaging in a war of words with Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris.
He opined that Sonko should put Nairobi first instead of wasting his time on things that do not matter.
“4/5 of the street lights in this city aren’t working, simple basic things but leaders still find time to stand on a podium and abuse women, shame #nairobifirst,” he tweeted.
Sonko and Passaris have recently been engaging in a war of words.
During the Madaraka Day celebrations in Nairobi, Passaris walked out of the celebrations after Sonko attacked her. The governor has, however, insisted that he will not apologise for the remarks he made against the woman rep.
The differences between the two politicians have continued to elicit mixed reactions from different quarters.
