Uasin Gishu County Assembly speaker David Kiplagat has condoled with governor Jackson Mandago, and his family following the demise of his elder brother.
Reports on Nation, indicate that the deceased's body was reportedly found dumped in a building at Chepkanga market, in the outskirts of the town.
Speaking after visiting Mandago's home, Kiplagat condemned the incident, and called for stern action against those involved.
"I want to condemn the act with the strongest terms possible. On behalf of my family, myself, and the Uasin Gishu County Assembly, I want to convey my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. May God give the family strength during this hard time of mourning," he said.
He urged the police to conduct thorough investigations, and arrest all those involved in one way or another.
"Police should not leave any stone unturned on the same, they should ensure that anyone who had a hand on the death of governor's brother is arrested and charged for justice to prevail," he said.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue.
