Rarieda Member of Parliament and renowned lawyer Otiende Amollo mourns the death of his friend Justice Etyang who collapsed and sister-in-law who succumbed to cancer.
Speaking on national television on Tuesday, the legislator said that the week that the two died had been a difficult one.
"Let me express my condolences to the family. This has been a difficult week as my own sister-in-law died of breast cancer," Otiende said.
The MP called on members of the medical profession to help the country understand the problem of cancer and come up with solutions.
His words come in the wake of media headlines about Cancer deaths that have gripped the Kenyan public.
Justice Etyang had a stint as High Court judge and offered legal advice to the governor of Busia Sospeter Ojaamong.
