Some Kenyans have been wondering about how they can successfully apply for the census jobs.
Your friends may give you scanty information about the job and therefore it is important that you familiarize yourself with comprehensive information so that you don't blunder around when applying.
The first important thing is to write a clear and precise cover letter expressing your interest in the job. If you need an enumerator post, then indicate the reference number for that specific role.
The different reference numbers for each post are clearly indicated on the screenshots we have attached.
You should also include the county, sub-county, division, location, sub-location, village or estate of residence. Remember not to give false information in your application.
After writing the letter, attach your relevant documents; copies of your academic certificates, national identity card and other relevant certificates on it.
Ensure you have a bank account where your payment will be wired in the event you are selected to do the job.
Those applying to work as Census Enumerators, make sure you submit your letters and the attached documents to the assistant chief's office in your area.
Content Supervisors' role applicants should tender their applications to the chief's office.
Those angling to work during the census as ICT Supervisors, are supposed to submit their application letters to the respective county statistic offices.
In all the positions, do not forget to fill in an application summary form taking note of the serial numbers. You will be advised on this by the officers collecting your application letters.
