It is no secret that any politician's dream is to remain in power for as long as one is alive. However, for some governors, 2022 is the year that their blossoming political careers could be brought to a dead end. They include:
1. Ali Hassan Joho
He is the current Mombasa County governor, serving his second term. Constitutionally, he is not eligible to vie for another term at the same capacity.
His next politician move us still unclear, a thing that can render him jobless if he makes a wrong move come 2022.
2. Alfred Mutua
The incumbent Machakos governor currently serving his term is at a political crossroad. He is on record claiming that ge will vie for the country's top seat come 2022.
As a matter of fact the race will not be a walk in the park. Failure to clinch the presidency as he hopes, Mutua will definitely risk getting into political oblivion.
3. Jackson Mandago
He is the incumbent Uasin Gishu governor. Being a second time governor, the odds of him remaining in active politics are very high.
Mandago is yet to make known his next move. Just like Joho, the path he choses to follow after 2022 will largely determine political career. A slight mistake will also take into political oblivion.
