With the ongoing war on corruption gaining momentum, Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter has come out to express his opinion over the manner in which the exercise is being conducted.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the vocal MP has noted that graft war should not be weaponized.
He insists that corruption should be fought "with all the energy and information we have."
"We should not weaponize corruption but instead fight it with all the energy and information we have. Why is this fight against corruption leaning in one side? Is someone in control?," reads Keter's Facebook post.
It is a statement that seems to agree with sentiments from a section of politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto who have claimed that investigating agencies were being used as a political tool ahead of 2022 general elections.
The two-time legislator has been a critic of DP Ruto and it is not yet clear whether his Facebook post was meant to signal his change of tune over graft purge that has sparked a heated exchange of words among politicians allied to different leaders.
It has also come at a time there is a storm over the multi-billion dam projects in DP Rutos backyard that has been hit with graft allegations.
