The seemingly happy Kenyatta while attending the African Union (AU) summit in Ethiopia met Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa.

In a statement shared on his Twitter, the President stated that; "we need therefore to think like ancestors so that we can shape a bright future for our descendants."

The Head of State further said those who are alive today are the ancestors of the yet to be born children and future generations.

"We who are alive today are the ancestors of those yet to be born," added Uhuru.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is Africa's longest serving president so far having ruled Uganda for over three decades and with no hopes of relinquishing power anytime soon.

Both President Museveni and Cyril Ramaphosa are the older presidents on the African continent despite the latter having taken over power from former SA President Zuma.
