Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo made the first ever public appearance outside the county headquarters where he officially registered for Huduma Namba on Monday.
For the better part of last year, Nyaribo was flown to India for treatment after being diagnosed with kidney problems. He stayed away for four months.
At the county headquarters, Nyaribo urged residents to register for Huduma Namba, arguing that it will help in effective service delivery in both governments.
"Ignore those spreading misconceptions and bad narratives. This service will help us to streamline service delivery for our people. It will also centralise records," he said.
Early this month, Governor John Nyagarama registered for the Huduma Namba when Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i visited Miruka market to mobilise residents.
On the ongoing payroll audit, Nyaribo promised that the exercise will be transparent, adding that those against it should quit government.
"We shall ensure that only genuine people are on the payroll. Those who were sneaked in shall go home and we shall do so without apology," he said.
Already, it has been established that several people were recruited without due process of the law. This would see top government officials frogmarched to court.
