Homa Bay County Senator Moses Kajwang' wants Deputy President William Ruto to answer a number of questions concerning corruption allegations made against him.
Speaking on Sunday during a church service, the senator asked the DP to come clean on the Kimwarer and Arror dam scandals, the status of the Kenya Pipeline investigations, and claims that the Weston Hotel associated to him, sits on public land.
"Before the deputy president, who is part of the presidency, stands in front of the public and starts peddling rumours about Raila Amollo Odinga, he must explain the status of the fake dams where he is implicated, he must tell this country what is the result and the outcome of the Kenya Pipeline investigation, and he must tell this country how he intends to ensure that the Weston land which he accepts he illegally acquired was settled, "Kajwang' said.
Senator Kajwang' was responding to claims by Ruto that ODM leader Raila Odinga was part of the fake gold syndicate that has been accused of duping scores of people.
He claimed that Ruto's intention in accusing Raila was to divert attention from graft allegations facing him.
Scores of people have been arrested by sleuths attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over the fake gold scandal.
