This he said with regards to Musyoka's recent reconciliation with President Uhuru Kenyatta during the funeral ceremony of his father Peter Mairu in Kitui on Friday.

Pledging his readiness to work with Uhuru's government, the former Vice President also promised to work under Uhuru henceforth.

“I think I will be Uhuru’s right-hand man from now on and I don’t want anyone to question me about it," Musyoka was quoted by the Capital News.

However, according to Osiany, the remarks will form the basis on which rival Ukambani leaders will seek his political elimination in pursuit of the Kamba political kingship.

He added that Kalonzo's pledge to work under Uhuru would be translated as incompetence and inability to lead his community by the likes of his leading rival in the region and Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

Consequently, he said, Musyoka who has also declared his bid for the presidential seat in the 2022 general election might lose his political footing both locally and nationally.

"Amewapa wapinzani wake sababu ya kumrarua. Ameanzisha vita vya kumridhi kule ukambani. ( he has just kicked off the race to succeed him as the Ukambani kingpin)," he said.

Both Musyoka and Mutua have announced their bids for the presidential race in the coming 2022 general election.
