The youths while speaking during a meeting held on Saturday to discuss the MP's leadership since he won the seat in 2017 claimed that the MP has been moving around with elderly people.

"Oyioka has failed to honour his promises he made during the 2017 campaigns that he will give job opportunities youths but, what he was doing is the opposite. The lawmaker has condoned elderly people in his camp despite the youths campaigning for him passionately during the campaigns," said Omwancha Ondari.

Eric Nyachwaya called on the 'lazy' MP to stop running the constituency as if it is his own kiosk.

"It is sad that what we are seeing in Bonchari is the relocation of learning institutions instead of development. Oyioka must know he was not elected to serve his selfish interests. We want him to serve the people diligently," said Nyachwaya.

Another angry youth Douglas Moseti regretted that youths elected Oyioka only to be ignored.

"We must ensure Oyioka is working and create more job opportunities for our youths and not the elderly persons. 2022 people like Oyioka won't be elected to represent Bonchari," said Moseti.
