North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko accused ODM treasurer Timothy Bosire of 'being idle' for criticising Ruto often in social gatherings.

"I hear Bosire wants to be governor. Let him revive his political career before criticising Ruto. He must stop this habit and I want to assure him Ruto isn't interested in his idleness. He will get most votes in Nyamira and Kisii," he fired back.

More often than not, Bosire has questioned Ruto's trips to Gusii, arguing that they are meant to hoodwink locals to vote for him despite most of the projects launched being old.

But in a quick rejoinder in phone, Bosire accused Nyamoko of 'political immaturity' adding that he had no audacity to speak for the deputy president.

"I have never responded to Nyamoko but he's being immature. He seems to forget that Ruto is deputy president of the Republic of Kenya. I am not even sure whether he won in 2017 or not because he's among those rigged in," he said.

Mr Bosire lost his seat to Shadrack Mose in 2017 with a small margin and has been linked to Nyamira gubernatorial seat. He is Raila Odinga's pointsman from the entire Gusii region.

On the other hand, Nyamoko, the former County Assembly speaker, is a key ally of the DP and is behind the 20 trips Ruto has made to Gusii since 2017 polls.
