Kibabii University students have been recalled back to session to continue with the semester.

In a notice posted on the University website and Twitter, the administration gave tough conditions which they have to meet before one is allowed back to the institution.

The students will be required to have cleared all fees as a mechanism to ensure students settle in as to prepare for exams scheduled to commerce on May 10th.

"Kibabii University Senate at a Special meeting held on Friday, 5th April 2019 decided to recall all students whose programmes were in session before the closure of the University on 23rd March 2019 on the following dates and conditions," read the notice in part.

Students have been directed to report back on Monday 15th April as learning commences on Tuesday 16th.

All Students must pay a fine of Sh500 (Five Hundred Shillings Only) for damages caused during their recent protest. The payments should be made to the University bank accounts.

"The fine pay-in receipt must be presented together with a National ID Card and Students ID Card before the signing of a Bond Of Good Conduct to keep the peace.

 The bond can be downloaded from the University website.

Kibabii University is hosting this year's National Drama Festivals.

The institution was closed on 23rd March following a protest by students after one of the comrades was hit by a running vehicle causing uproar from students.
