Mutua claimed the area MCA Wambua Musau has never set foot in his office to present to him the developmental needs of his electorates.

He used a Bible while making the claims to show the residents that he was saying the truth.

"I have never seen your MCA in my office. I swear you elected him to represent you, but he has failed in his job," Mutua said.

Mutua said the MCA has been on the frontline in ensuring his regime is filled with difficulties.

He said the Machakos county assembly is on a mission of crippling his dream of being president in 2022.

The governor nominated former area MCA Thomas Kasoa as his 'representative' who will be talking to him on behalf of Mbiuni ward residents.

Mutua was flanked by Makutano and Masii ward representatives Brian Kisila and Betty Nzisa respectively.

Musau who is bereaved after his brother died on Friday told the press that it was shameful for the governor to feed the public with lies instead of telling them how he has used their taxes.

"Instead of the governor coming to condole with my family, he chose to drag my name in the mud just because I chose not to dance to his tune. He can't even account for the taxpayers' money," Musau said.

The MCA said Mutua is bitter with him since he has refused to be 'bought'.

Musau said he could not attend the governor's function at his ward since he was issued a short notice on the event.
