Monday blues affects one's psyche for work and this reduces his/her performance which in turn reduces their productivity. However, here are ways to beat the Monday blues:

1. Reduce some of your work load on Friday

Fridays are always seen as the best days at work. This is because most people leave early for the weekend and increase their workload for the following week.

You can handle the small tasks as early as possible to avoid procrastination which might kick the morale out of you and usher in these emotions.

2. Avoid checking work email on weekends

Try as much as you can to avoid looking at work email if you will not respond or unless there is an urgent situation at hand. 

Switch off from office work once you leave the office and focus on enjoying the weekend. This will help you in starting the week fresher and psyched up.

3. Be positive

Start your week by appreciating the things you love about your job. You can also make a playlist of your favourite songs or read out some quotes to keep you on the go. 

4. Have fun at work

Setting up some fun time at work with your colleagues on Mondays could keep off these feelings. Sharing stories of how the weekend was could be fun and help in strengthening colleague bonds.
