Kesses Member of Parliament Dr Mishra Kiprop has vowed to ensure full implementation of the cow issuance project in his constituency.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, the legislator urged residents who are yet to benefit from the project to remain calm, adding that his office was working tirelessly to ensure that they get cows.
"We are working around the clock to ensure that we fully implement what we promised. The cow issuance will continue to my great people of Kesses by the grace of God," he posted.
During his campaigns, Mishra outlined the cow issuance project as one of his main agendas if he won the elections.
He noted that the project would benefit Kesses locals who never had a chance to own a cow, adding that it will also boost the income levels of many households through selling of milk.
Kesses is an agricultural area, and is known for its surplus production of milk and maize.
The project is set to be completed before the next general elections where Mishra is expected to seek re-election.
