Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has hit out at a social media user, Osoro Albert after he tried to question his performance track record.
Osoro said that Khalwale, who has vowed to support Deputy President William Ruto in 2022, has no moral authority to attack Siaya Senator James Orengo.
“What has @KBonimtetezi done to his constituency that you can compare him with @orengo_james? Orengo has played very significant roles towards the democratisation of Kenya. His name will forever remain in the history books,” said one Osoro Albert.
Khalwale quickly outlined the projects he initiated during his tenure in office, and insisted that he has done a lot for his people and Orengo is not his match when it comes to matters of development.
“Don’t you dare compare me to that Orengo of yours? I’ve built a hospital in each of Ikolomani divisions, 2 health centers in each ward, a youth polytechnic in each ward, a TTI, the best school infrastructure & 3 modern bridges on rivers Isiukhu & Lukose, and electricity all over,” he said in response to the social media user.
Khwalale has dismissed Orengo's intended motion to impeach DP Ruto before 2022.
