Former Starehe MP aspirant Boniface Mwangi on Saturday said the least he expects Raila to do is to fire Obado from NASA following  claims that he directly contributed in the killing of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.

"People of Migori, go knock your MCA’s houses, demand they impeach Obado," Mwangi said in tweet.

"He slept with Sharon. Impregnated Sharon. Murderers should rot in jail. I expect Raila Odinga to expel Obado from NASA!"

By law, an expulsion from NASA would mean an expulsion from ODM, the party through which Obado was re-elected during the August 8th general election.

Although such action is possible, Mwangi will have to wait for longer for his proposal to happen as courts have not yet found Obado guilty.

The county chief has widely been linked to the death of Sharon who was murdered and her body dumped at Kodera Forest. She was allegedly raped before being brutally killed.

Obado is presently under police watch in Gigiri, Nairobi helping police carry out investigation into the murder of the 26-year-old girl who he agrees was his girlfriend.

Sharon's family through lawyer Peter Kaluma who is Homa Bay Town MP has demanded nothing less of justice for the family.

Kaluma says Sharon will not be buried until her killers are arrested and prosecuted.
