Amid tension in the ruling party Uhuru abandoned his Friday's AU trip to Mauritania and held a 5-hour meeting at State House in Nairobi.

Lately politicians in Jubilee allied to both Uhuru and Ruto have publicly thrown accusations against each other threatening split withing the ruling party.

And in State House, Uhuru is said to have prevailed upon Ruto to reduce 2022 charm offensive and concentrate on service delivery.

To implement their agreement, the two have agreed to have PG on Tuesday to communicate resolutions to their allies.

Recently, Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, a close ally of Ruto, openly accused State House of sabotaging Ruto's 2022 bid.

While details of the meeting remain scanty, Uhuru is also said to have briefed his DP the need for lifestyle audit.
