Laikipia Women Representative Catherine Waruguru has hit out at Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua and former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth.
This comes after the two on Wednesday held a joint press conference alongside other leaders from the Mt Kenya region to defend President Uhuru Kenyatta over allegations of neglecting the region in terms of development.
Speaking in Laikipia while issuing cheques to bodaboda youth groups in the area, Waruguru dismissed Karua and Kenneth's statement, saying the two are outsiders with no moral authority to speak for the Jubilee Party.
She went ahead to accuse the two of refusing to work with the Jubilee government despite numerous calls by President Uhuru.
The women rep accused Karua of insulting the President on numerous occasions, adding that the two are looking for relevance in the current political system after losing in the 2017 polls.
"We see people commenting on bedroom matters of the party in which they are not members. Let us be allowed to sort out issues as a party," she said.
The duo on Wednesday led leaders from Mt Kenya in castigating the region's MPs accused of disrespecting Uhuru.
This comes after Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria during an event on New Year's Eve accused the Head of State of neglecting the Mt Kenya region in terms of development.
