Gor Mahia lost for the first time in the continental showpiece CAF Confederations cup, going down 2-1 at home to Rayon Sports of Rwanda.

The visitors took the lead early in the first half, but the home side equalized before the break. 

Rayon were not done yet, and took the lead 10 minutes into the second half, with Gor unable to find an answer after that. 

After the match, football fans and commentators alike took to social media to air their frustrations, with many pointing an accusing finger at KPL for congesting fixtures. 

They said the team suffered from exhaustion, after playing many KPL matches before the continental ties.
