When a lady loves and declares it openly, this is usually for real. Sometimes, it may feel like you are breaking or hurting her heart when you turn down her request for being her boyfriend.
Have you been talking for long and have noticed her intentions? Or is it sudden? If you do not feel anything for her, please do this:
1. Don’t mislead her making her believe that the relationship is headed somewhere
She may be innocent after all since you might have made her believe that you have fallen for her through actions you have been doing like replying the same way to that flirting SMS she sent you. Don’t do that, please. Stop giving her false hopes.
2. Do not make love to her, nor say you love her and you don’t
That would be a big blunder. Why make sexual advances yet you are not interested at all in her? The worst in all is saying you love her back to make her feel good yet you don’t!
3. Be direct to the point, and do not go exposing her to your friends
Do not say that you need time to think about it and end up going everywhere exposing her that she is the one who made the first step. She did the first step in private, let it stay there privately, not in public.
In conclusion, do not use harsh words when talking to her like for example telling her that you have a girlfriend. Do not say hash words like "My girlfriend is more beautiful than you, stay away!" after all, what makes you think that that relationship of yours will not end soon? Won't come back to that lady who genuinely told you she loved you? Think about this!
