Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria now believes that Deputy resident William Ruto and ODM Party leader Raila Odinga are the major problem affecting Kenyans.
According to Kuria, the love-hate-relationship between the two leaders who enjoy massive support across the country has now reached a point of concern.
“It is easier said than done to say deal with corruption; much very easy to say. You know what is the problem in this country, we have got a problem of two people; William Ruto and Raila Odinga are Kenya’s biggest problem, and every thing else we are saying is hiding our heads in the sand. What we need to do is have a massive building of consensus,” Kuria said during NTV’s Sidebar program on Tuesday Night.
The legislator went ahead to claim that there are MPs aligned to the two leaders who are not in talking terms, due to differences between DP Ruto and Odinga.
“People from Raila Odinga’s camp think that corruption is a euphemism for William Ruto, and William Ruto’s people when they see Raila Odinga they see nothing except blocking him from going to State House.
"Remember there are so many innocent people who do not want to be part of this nonsense,” said Kuria.
Kuria was hosted on the show by Ken Mijungu.
The MP appeared on the show alongside his Suba North counterpart Millie Odhiambo, Nominated Senator Halake Abshiro and analyst Dr Alutalala Mukhwana.
