Nandi senator Samson Cherargei has stated that Jubilee party is still intact and in full support of president Uhuru Kenyatta's Big Four Agenda.
Speaking at Ollesos Technical Training Institute in Nandi county on Thursday, Cherargei said that what we are currently witnessing in the ruling party was just opposition sideshows with an aim of driving a wedge between the president and his deputy.
The vocal senator expressed concerns over the events that took place after the handshake, opining that more divisions, loss of focus and hatred had been ensuing in the ruling party.
He added that the government was at crossroads with the opposition, hence, relegating development.
"Since Raila came with the handshake, there has been a lot of confusion in government. We are no longer focusing on the Big Four Agenda," said Cherargei.
However, the youthful legislator noted that Jubilee leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto still love the president and are fully behind him on the development and other important issues.
"I want to be very clear, as Jubilee leaders, we are in the party to stay. Our dear president and his deputy, together with all of us will continue to support the Big Four Agenda," the senator noted.
Cherargei went ahead to express hope of a sustained unity in Jubilee and affirmed that the government is still committed to delivering its promises.
