When a man loves a woman, he should look beyond her minor imperfections. His actions should be to reflexively be proud of her and present her to all your friends as “magnificent love of his life”. Even when he meets friends who are successful more than him, he should never be ashamed.
When he loves her truly, after work, he cannot wait to get home to share with her even the trivial jokes he heard during the day instead of going window shopping with a new beautiful intern at the office. He cannot stand to see her cry so he will never lay a hand on her or utter abusive words through his mouth when addressing her. He tries his best to remain loving and kind throughout their argument and say goodnight even when they got into a fight.
The words: LOVE, SORRY, PLEASE and THANK YOU, form part of their everyday conversation whenever they are required. To her, he is a dedicated father figure, a true friend, lover and admirer. He does not keep the records of all the things he has bought for her because they were straight from the heart and she un-regrettably deserves them. He supports her more than he supports the national soccer team, he prays for her more than he prays for his share in the national lottery stake.
He is still human but it does not stop him from forgiving and forgetting her petty mistakes. And he laughs every time he thinks of her pet peeves for they are what make her unique from other people. He is never forgetful of the fact that a relationship is a work in progress thus mistake prone, so instead of updating their problems in his Facebook status he sits her down and discusses the matters privately because their love is a private respectable entity.
Women’s day does not come once in a year for in his house: every day is the “Women’s day.” As of this moment on the streets: the same man is smiling because he left a happy, smiling wife, girlfriend/partner and lover when he left for work this morning.
