Renowned journalist Jeff Koinange is in trouble yet again.
This is after the Media Council of Kenya (MCK), body charged with enforcing standards in the media industry, took issue with some of the questions that he asked COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli.
According to MCK, some of the questions had sexual connotations and were asked at the wrong time.
"By this letter MCK wishes to inform you that it reserves the rightto take disciplinary action against the host of the programme and the media in view of the above contravened clauses. In the meantime urgently furnish the council with steps taken to avoid such occurrences in future," MCK wrote to the Royal Media Services.
Koinange Wednesday asked Atwoli how he performed in bed in a coded way, causing a stir online.
Scores of social media users excoriated the JKL host over what they called inappropriate questions.
This is not the first time Jeff Koinange has had to grapple with a backlash for broaching sensitive issues.
