Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of betrayal.
This follows Uhuru's veiled attack on him on Monday, when the President while in Mombasa termed him 'Mshenzi' (Stupid) for allegedly threatening the Head of State.
But speaking when he led a peaceful defiant demo against the branding in Nakuru on Tuesday, Ngunjiri said that Uhuru is a failure.
He claimed that Uhuru has forgotten the favour he has been doing him, saying that he has been covering up for the President who has failed to deliver most of his promises to the people of Bahati.
"You promised the people of Bahati roads the last time you were there but has never bothered to keep your promise but I have been covering up for you, it's sad that you can now insult us," he told the President through the media.
He said that the same is the case throughout Nakuru county.
Ngunjiri claimed that most of the remaining sub-counties are also owed development projects by Uhuru who made the pledges during the campaign season.
"The same is the case in Rongai, Molo and other areas," he added.
The latter on Sunday bashed Uhuru over his silence in the apparent sabotage against Deputy President William Ruto's bid by some figures close to Uhuru.
Uhuru has remained silent two weeks after his ally and former Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe vowed that himself and a section of the party will move to court to block Ruto's bid.
