Clubbing and alcohol abuse has become the new source of income to alcohol vendors which has raised the number of alcohol joints to over 40 in the Central Business District alone.

A peep in a Kisii club will give you a clear picture of what partying means.

Music from the speakers will hit your eardrums as early as 6 pm. With the new and updated music playlists, the DJs and the emcees will keep you hyped.

By around 10 pm, things get into the next level. Ladies and men fill the seats and order their drinks. At this stage, you will see all the new trends in fashion new cars at the parking lot.

By midnight, all the revellers are tipsy and drunk which gives room to getting 'stupid'.

Ladies will twerk and lap dance on anyone who comes along. In some special nights, especially on Wednesdays ladies' night and twerk Thursdays, all kind of 'sins' happen.

On the floor, ladies will dance as men pour liquor and throw money on their butt. This trick is used to ensure the ladies curves are portrayed better.

The more the liquor you pour, the more you enjoy seeing girls around you dancing on your table. It gets hotter after the ladies strip and pole dance to ensure that you don't resist but look.

"This is the new style in Kisii these days to get attention. Ladies like the liquor poured on them because the dresses flow with the curves," James Karanja, an emcee said.

In some cases, a couple will excuse themselves to the washroom and have some quickies and quench their thirst.

By around 3 am in the morning, a majority of the lodges in town get booked as prostitutes hunt their preys. Sex becomes the closer of the night sessions.

In the morning, the clubs slowly turn into restaurants awaiting another night of twerking, liquor splash and sex.
