Socialite Bridget Achieng is one of the socialites who do not need any form of introduction. In an exclusive interview with the BBC, the socialite revealed that life has not been a bed of roses for her.
She said that she decided to become a high-end 'prostitute' to pay her bills.
Achieng also revealed that her life in the slums was not easy. She recalls being molested while she was a kid. At one point, she says life became so tough that she decided to become a prostitute.
She, however, said that things never turned as she wished.
“I tried (the trade), I wouldn’t say I didn’t try. You are a desperate girl looking for money and you are getting a guy who wants to give you like ten thousand dollars just to go visit him in Dubai or wherever and he is willing to dash you 10 thousand dollars!" she said in part.
She went on to reveal that her life has since changed after she decided to become a socialite.
She is now among the top-rated socialites in the nation.
